Weaving Workshops are back for 2026! 
 
After a long break and due to high demand, weaving and more sessions are back. 
 
This is an ongoing class where you will get to learn the art of tapestry weaving on tapestry frames and get to use shared table looms. 
Over time as a group we collaborate and help each other to put warps onto the looms, so that with time you can take in and learn the full process of winding warps, setting up looms and weaving on them if you'd like to. 
 
However you may develop your weaving however you like, with support from the tutor Lisa Tilley.  
 
The group is very supportive, encouraging and inspiring of each other, so that whilst weaving most find that they generally get more from the sessions than expected. 
 
In the past we have even exhibited at local museums and had extra sessions in drawing & designing for weave and natural dying. 
 
Lisa Tilley is a trained a weaver, artist and arts educator with over 20 years of experience with all ages and abilities and welcomes you to class. 
 
Equipment is available to work on as well as all materials, however in time most bring in specific items they would like to use. 
 
You are welcome to bring your own refreshments to class. 
 
There are 2 booking options, per session for those that can come intermittently and a 4 week block booking for those that can come every week.
